The Hallowell Initiatives Committee for Historic Preservation is sponsoring garden tours of outstanding gardens in Hallowell and Augusta.
The tours are planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23.
Tickets cost $20 each. All proceeds go to the committee’s fund for historic preservation, according to a news release from the group.
Garden tour tickets can be purchased at Hallowell City Hall during regular business hours.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Granite Hill Estates main lodge office at 60 Balsam Drive.
The tour includes the Vaughan Homestead Gardens, Hallowell’s Granite City Park Gardens, Lux Gardens in Hallowell and six private gardens at the Granite Hill Estates.
