MANCHESTER – Lisa LaCroix, 56, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on July 16, 2022. She was born March 18, 1966, a daughter of Beverly (Boggs) Lavinge.

Lisa grew up in Augusta and was a 1984 graduate of Cony High School. During her school years, Lisa had many friends who filled the family home with memories. During her adulthood she furthered her education by taking classes at the University of Maine at Augusta and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. Her career was spent working for various Departments for the State of Maine; for the past several years at the Department of Health and Human Services as a case worker. She was devoted to her work and was truly an advocate for the clients she served.

Over nine years ago, she met Rickie Holmes and on May 21, 2021, the two were married. Together, they lived near Cobbosseecontee Lake, where she enjoyed listening to the loons at night. Lisa was an avid shopper, a good cook, and loved her dear dog, Max.

Lisa will be remembered as a smart and caring woman with a big heart.

She was predeceased by her step-father, Luc-Lin Lavigne.

She is survived by her husband, Rickie Holmes; her mother, Beverly Lavigne; her brother, Steven LaCroix and his wife, Mary; and her stepchildren, Eric Holmes, Khoury Coro, and Phillip Holmes.

Services for Lisa are private.
