Wayne Louder

BURNHAM – Wayne Louder, of Burnham Maine and Lake Ashton, Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on July 19, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer. He leaves his loving wife of 55 years, Deborah; his sons Scott (Beth) and Greg; and his five grandchildren, Grace, John, Nora, Kate and Samuel Wayne, his namesake. He also leaves his sister, Mary (Al) Ahlers, of North Yarmouth, Maine. Wayne was born in Lewiston, Maine, raised in Massachusetts, and graduated from the University of Maine, Orono. He and Deb raised their family in Acton, Mass., for 45 years, while Wayne worked for Digital, retiring as Vice President of Human Resources.

Throughout Wayne’s life, he took tremendous pride in his children and grandchildren. He coached his sons’ hockey teams when they were young and could be seen on the sidelines or against the glass cheering his sons and grandchildren on for all their various sports. Nothing gave him greater pleasure than celebrating the successes of his family. Wayne loved spending time at the family camp in Unity, Maine, riding in his pontoon boat on the lake with his family and friends. But his greatest devotion was reserved for his wife, his partner in golf and all of life’s adventures.

There will be a celebration of life at the family home in Maine.
