MADISON – David H. Recore, 27, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 16, 2022.

David was born in Bristol, Conn. on April 8, 1995, the son of Trudy Mills and Steven Recore in Bristol, Conn.

David was employed as a roofer, a pool technician, and home construction.

He enjoyed helping others, DIY projects, cars, playing the Darksiders video game, building things, and playing with his dog, Luna. He loved his children, spending time with family and friends and making his infamous chili and tacos.

David is survived by his children Elloit and Isabelle and their mother, Victoria Dannemiller; his parents Trudy Mills and his father Steven Recore; his grandmother, Carolyn Levesque of Connecticut; his sister, Suzanne Millan of Connecticut, his brothers Mathew Dennis of Maine, Richard Dennis of Maine, Steve Recore II of Maine, and Theodore “Teddy” Recore of Maine; his aunts Holly Hannon of Maine, Michelle Mills of Maine, his uncles Jay Mills and his wife, Shirlee, of New York, and Aaron Mills and his wife, Sue, of Connecticut; his great-uncle, Anthony Petro of Connecticut, and his great-aunt, Airadean McLaughlin of Maine.

Please join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison. A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24 in East Cemetery in Skowhegan.
