Former Republican President Donald J. Trump recently made the following statement on his Truth Social platform concerning documents the FBI removed from his home: “It was all declassified.”

If that is the truth then by federal law those or any other documents the former president declassified are in the public domain. I am waiting for various news media and papers to file Freedom of Information requests for all the documents that former President Trump declassified. Once a president declassifies a document we all have the right to see and read them.

Another source for those documents is our Library of Congress, as it maintains public access to all documents that have been declassified going back to at least 1945.

Just a little public research to fact-check the former president or even a FOIA request including our National Archives would clear up this controversy of claims and counterclaims for all of us.
