Stanley E. Burrill

CANAAN – Stanley E. Burrill, 91, died peacefully at his home on Aug. 25, 2022, in Canaan. He joined his daughter in Heaven on her birthday.

Stanley was born on June 8, 1931, in Canaan, the son of the late Harold and Alice (Olson) Burrill. He lived on the same road for his entire life.

He held his private pilot’s license and loved taking friends and family up in the air. He was a former member of the Canaan Fire Department and had served in the past as chief.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ann Everett Burrill of Canaan; granddaughters Erica Small and companion Dolton Stephenson of Canaan and Rachel Small of Palmyra; great-granddaughters Rae Ann-Marie and Aris; son-in-law, Ray Small of Parkman; sister-in-law, Sandra Everett of Skowhegan; special cousin, Kevin Gower and wife Lisa, of Clinton; and many other cousins.
