TAUNTON, Mass. – Donald Paquette, 77, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly following a period of declining health on August 27, 2022. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Thornley) Paquette of Taunton. He was born in Waterville, Maine, the son of the late Wallace and Hope (Holt) Paquette.

Donald had resided in Taunton and was formerly of Fairfield, Maine. He worked as a plumber for the City of Taunton for over 30 years. Donald was educated in Fairfield schools. He enjoyed his home on Lake Winnipesaukee, boating, snowmobiling, skiing, and hiking in the White Mountains. Donald also loved attending his granddaughter’s activities, especially her horse shows. He cherished his time with family and friends and looked forward to the annual family cookouts in Maine each year.

Donald leaves his children; Kimberly Paquette of Taunton, Katie Paquette of Attleboro, Kasey Paquette of Taunton; his loving grandchildren, Hunter and Charlee Osborne of Attleboro; and siblings, Prudence Moody of Fairfield, Wallace “Billy” Paquette of Augusta, and Susan Ross of Hayeville, N.C. Donald was predeceased by his son, Kyle Paquette; and siblings, Connie LaFlamme, Paula Simpson, Debra Veilleux, and Thomas Paquette, Robert Paquette, Rebecca Paquette, Patricia Paquette and Carol Paquette. Donald was the uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sept. 1. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
