Kathy Jean Kilkenny
MADISON – Kathy Kilkenny, 67, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at her home with her sister by her side.
Born in Hartland, March 11, 1955, the daughter of Ted and Esther Stewart of Skowhegan. She graduated from Skowhegan Area High School, June 14, 1973, and retired from the Town of Skowhegan after 28 years.
Kathy’s mother, Esther Stewart, passed one week later on Aug. 15, 2022 at 92 years old. Her dad, Ted Stewart, passed before her on June 26, 2012 at 85 years old.
She’s survived by her sister, Rachael (husband, Tom and son, Adam Streifel) of West Palm Beach, Fla.
Arrangements are under the care of Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, Skowhegan. She will be laid to rest, combined with the ashes of her husband, Sheldon, at the Kilkenny gravesite at Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan. There will be no public service.
