WATERVILLE — Author and international speaker Cynthia Heald of Arizona is scheduled to be the featured speaker at the annual Central Maine Ladies Retreat on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Kennebec Valley Baptist Church, Marston Road.

The daylong event begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m.

The registration fee is $25.
