The Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s 15th juried exhibition Art in Maine is scheduled to be held Oct. 8 through Nov. 13 at the foundation gallery, 1 Townsend Road.
The submission deadline for artists’ works is Friday, Sept. 23. The opening reception is 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.
ART in MAINE’s exhibit aims to present a fresh and selective look at the fine art being created by Maine artists today, showcasing originality in the media of painting, drawing and sculpture.
Works will be juried by Kathleen Galligan, who is represented by Portland Maine’s Greenhut Gallery and Littlefield Gallery in Winterport.
More than $1,000 in prizes will be awarded.
