FARMINGDALE – Patricia “Pat” A. Libby, 73, of Farmingdale, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, after a long hard battle with cancer, at the MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and LTC at Glenridge, Comfort Care Unit, in Augusta.

She was born in Waterville on July 22, 1949, to Clyde and Loretta (Carey) Soule. Pat attended and graduated from Oakland High School in 1967, then continued on to get her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of Orono in 1971. She worked for the Maine State Bureau of Insurance for 25 years. She was a passionate, loving, and giving woman. She was always willing to help others when possible. She deeply loved her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed going to the ocean and also had a passion for travel, and new adventures.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Loretta Soule; and her best friend and loving dog, Sassy.

Pat is survived by her son, David and wife Michelle Libby of Farmingdale, daughter Elizabeth and husband Rod Dill of Gardiner; five grandsons, Dillon Libby and partner Kristen of Farmingdale, Austin Libby and partner Hannah of Gardiner, Zachary and wife Rebekah Libby of Topsham, Kyle Michaud and partner Helena of Farmingdale and Robbie Michaud, of Farmingdale; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Michaud of Chelsea and Nathan Michaud of Farmingdale.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Date, time and location TBD.
