MONMOUTH — Linda Nelson, certified herbalist, plans to give a hands-on tinctures workshop at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the United Church of Monmouth, 778 Main St.
The event is hosted by the Kennebec Land Trust.
Those who attend can discover how simple it is to make powerful medicine from the plants growing in backyard, according to a news release from the Winthrop-based land trust.
The cost is $25, or $20 for trust members, plus a $6 material fee paid to the instructor.
