WATERVILLE — An informal basketball group plans to meet at 5:30 p.m. Sundays beginning Oct. 9 at the Alfond Youth Center, 126 North St.

Both men and women at least 35 years old who would like to join can call Peter Beckerman at 207-547-4411 or Club Athletic Director Isaac Leblanc at 207-873-0684, according to a news release from Beckerman.

There a nominal charge of $5 for walk-ins for the evening, and no extra charge for club members. Grant money is available (contact Beckerman).

Proof of full COVID vaccination and boosters is required.
