FARMINGTON – Mona Snell, 97, of Farmington (formerly of Madison), passed away at the Hospice House in Auburn on Sept. 10, 2022. She was born in Madison on July 12, 1925, to Adam and Irene Gilcott. Mona married Gordon Snell on Jan. 9, 1942. They had 70 years together and enjoyed many road trips throughout Maine.

Mona is survived by her children, Donna, Diane, Peggy, Johnny, Larry and David; 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The last of her generation, she was predeceased by her parents, husband, infant daughters, five siblings and their spouses, and sons-in-law, Michael and Lawrence.

At Mona’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.
