CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Maine Ski and Snowboard Museum plans to host a reception and induction ceremony of 23 individuals into the Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.

The event is set for 3:30-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Sugarloaf Base Lodge, 5012 Access Road in Carrabassett Valley. It will include a cash bar, appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, and music from Maine’s own Hall Pass Bluegrass.

All tickets sold include a one-year membership to the Maine Ski and Snowboard Museum. Tickets are limited.

The Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, a division of the Maine Ski and Snowboard Museum, was established to recognize individuals who bring distinction to Maine skiing and snowboarding. Inductees include athletes and coaches, pioneers in the ski industry, ski makers, ski area builders, instructors, volunteers, and others who have made significant contributions to the sport, according to a news release from Kate Barnes, museum executive director.

The class of 2020 includes Harold Bondeson, Chip Carey, Dick Forster, Robert Miller, Peter Smith Gregory Voisine, Larry Warren and Marcia White.

The class of 2021 includes Roger Arsenault, Laura and Harvey Boynton, Virginia Bousum, Liz Carey-Butera, Mike Chasse, George Gagnon, Scott Hoisington and Hazen McMullen.

The class of 2022 includes Scott Broomhall, Meredith Elcome, Robert Fisher, Roxanne Nash-Marks, Peter Howard, Jim Quimby and Russell Currier.
