Matthew P. Mason
OWLS HEAD – Matthew P. Mason, 40, of Owls Head, passed away on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022.
Born in Augusta, Jan. 4, 1982, he was the son of Gary L. Mason and Cheryl Mason Brackett, who predeceased him.
Mathew grew up in Randolph and went to school in Gardiner. He had many skills including, carpentry and marine work digging and was always known to be a hard worker. Matthew had a passion for drawing and spent a lot time on his artwork. He also loved hunting, fishing and canoeing on Alder Stream on Indian Island.
He is survived by his father Gary L. Mason and his fiancée Mary Street of Chelsea; his brother Michael Mason and his wife Christine of Richmond; a nephew Hunter Mason, niece Oliva Mason; his grandparents, Harvey and Juanita Mason of Ocala, Fla.; as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
