Voters in Senate District 14 and House District 53 have a chance to right the left-leaning Maine ship of state by voting for Jeff Hanley for the Senate and Mike Lemelin for the House.
Our family has known and done business with Jeff and Mike for years. They are honest and trustworthy, good people.
When the Christian Civic League asked Senate candidate Craig Hickman “should women’s shelters be required to house biological men who identify as women,” Hickman answered “yes.” Think of a woman fleeing from a violent relationship with a man, and having to share housing with a biological male. Cruel. But Craig Hickman is OK with that. Jeff Hanley and Mike Lemelin would not put up with this nonsense. Hickman would use taxpayer funds to go to fund abortion. Jeff and Mike are opposed to that.
So this November be smart. Vote Republican.
