WATERVILLE — Mara Von Oesen scored twice Tuesday as the Waterville girls soccer team closed out regular-season play with a 4-2 win over rival Winslow.

Waterville (10-3-1) also got a goal each from Allie Anich and Sadie Williams, and Anich and Piper Hamilton each had two assists. Lexi van der Westhuyzen made seven saves for the Purple Panthers, who notched their fourth straight win.

Lexi Sillanpaa scored two goals for Winslow (6-7-1), both of which were assisted by Kyri Meak. Goalkeeper Isabelle Fleury made 15 saves.

 

SKOWHEGAN 2, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Annabelle Morris and Arabel Linkletter each had a goal and an assist as the River Hawks won in Auburn.

Goalkeeper Natalie Cooke made 10 saves for Skowhegan (2-10-1), while Edward Little’s (2-10-1) Izzy Jalbert made two.

BOYS SOCCER

 

MT. ABRAM 9, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Three players scored three goals apiece for the Roadrunners (13-1) in Rumford.

Morgan Thibodeau, Bear Rollins and Kaden Pillsbury each tallied hat tricks for Mt. Abram (13-1-0). Pillsbury, Thibodeau, Tre Pease and Ash Rollins each had an assist.

The Roadrunners defense only allowed Mountain Valley (2-10-2) to take two shots, one of which was saved by Trey Reed and the other by Logan Dube.

Falcons goalkeeper Zac New stopped 11 shots.

 

FIELD HOCKEY

 

MESSALONSKEE 6, WINSLOW 1: Abby Stevens scored two goals as the Eagles won in Oakland.

Alyson Violette, Addyson Greenlaw, Isabel Culver and Chloe Michaud also scored for Messalonskee (11-3). Culver, Violette and Isabel Kramer had assists.

Sabrina York scored the lone goal for Winslow (2-12).

Messalonskee goalie Nealey Dillon made five saves, while Winslow’s Lainey Bell had nine.
