Anne M. (Stickney) Sacre

RANDOLPH – Mrs. Anne M. (Stickney) Sacre, 77, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 in the Alfond Center for Health following a lengthy illness. She is the loving wife of James H. Sacre with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Anne was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Augusta. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Robb) Stickney. She grew up in Augusta and was a graduate of Cony High School class of 1963.

Anne treasured the time she spent with her family. She especially enjoyed her summers at the family camp on Three-mile Pond. She was an avid golfer, snowmobiler, and bowler. She also enjoyed traveling with Jim in their mobile home to Florida for many years. She was the past president of Gardiner Little league and was also involved in youth sports with her boys and most recently enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s many sporting events.

Anne stayed at home raising her boys and taking care of her family. After the boys grew up she joined Jim in the family business S and M Radiator where she worked as the Office Manager for many years until her retirement.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband Jim, Anne is survived by her two sons Michael J. Sacre of Richmond and Stephen H. Sacre and his wife Nicole of Pittston, her sister Helen Allen of Old Orchard Beach and two grandchildren, Louden Sacre and Regan Sacre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to Anne’s parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Maurice “Moe” Stickney as well as her sister Kathy Couture.

Anne’s visitation will be in the Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave, Gardiner, on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. Her Funeral Service will be in the Funeral Home at 11 a.m., followed by interment in the Maple Grove Annex Cemetery, Randolph.
