AUGUSTA — The high school volleyball playoff fields were finalized Wednesday, with three central Maine teams earning berths.

Gardiner (14-0) earned the No. 2 seed in Class B and will host a quarterfinal match Saturday against ether No. 7 Gray-New Gloucester (8-6) or No. 10 Wells (6-8). Yarmouth (13-1) is the top seed in Class B.

No. 8 Cony (8-6) will host No. 9 Greely (8-6) in a prelim match Thursday at 6:30 p.m. No. 5 Messalonskee (12-2) will play at No. 4 York (11-3) in a quarterfinal match as well.

In Class A, Biddeford (14-0) earned the No. 1 seed. No. 13 Brunswick/Mt. Ararat (5-9) will play at No. 4 Cheverus/Greater Portland (8-6) in a prelim match.

Washington Academy (14-0) is the top seed in Class C.
