
MONMOUTH — DFD Russell Medical Centers recently announced the addition of board-certified family nurse practitioner Christopher Butler to the DFD team. Butler practices health care cooperatively with his patients, educating people on their health and involving them in shared medical decision-making.
Butler holds a Master of Science in nursing — family nurse practitioner from the University of Southern Maine. A board-certified family nurse practitioner, he has more than 12 years of experience in high-acuity medical fields, including as a family nurse practitioner, registered nurse and paramedic. Active in the community, Butler has volunteered with the Kennebunk Fire & Rescue team.
Butler practices family medicine, with a particular interest in high-acuity medicine and managing acute and chronic medical conditions. He comes to DFD from Poland Community Health Center in Maine.
