LAS CRUSES, N.M. – Elaine MacArthur, 89, passed away Oct. 21, 2022, after a long illness. Daughter of Lewis and Ella Pelkie of Milo, Maine, she settled in Madison with her husband, Benjamin W. MacArthur to raise her family. She lived a fulfilling life as loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Predeceased by her husband, brothers and sister, she leaves behind her four children, Ben MacArthur and wife Nancy, Sharyn Cerda and husband Bill Attenweiler, David MacArthur and wife Lisa, and Dianne Kuefler and husband Bob Salisbury. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association
in her honor.
