Michael W. Poulin

METHUEN, Mass. – Michael W. Poulin, 70, of Methuen, Mass., passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at Bridges by EPOCH in Westford, Mass. He was the son of the late William and Cleo (Veilleux) Poulin.

Born in Waterville, Maine and raised in Winslow, Maine, Michael graduated from Winslow High School. He then received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Lowell Technological Institute. He later received a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Lowell. Michael retired from Raytheon after dedicating 25 years of service.

After his retirement, he loved working in the Methuen School System with the math and robotics clubs. In his free time, Michael enjoyed spending time in his workshop, a shop that rivaled that of any middle school. He also spent much time in photography, printing, matting, and framing, and he loved working with radio controlled airplanes and perfecting his wine making skills.

Michael is survived by his sisters Marjorie (Poulin) Cucci and her husband Jeffrey of Albion, Marlene (Poulin) Clement and her husband Bruce of Benton; nieces Shanna Tice and her husband Adam of Lewiston, Erika Pelkey and her husband Nathan of Unity; several great nieces and nephews; and his buddy Bessy, a beautiful Newfoundlander and his pride and joy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, Mass. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen, Mass. A burial will take place in private.
