Dr. H. Coleman Scheuller

AUGUSTA/KAYSVILLE, Utah – Dr. H. Coleman Scheuller, 76, passed away on Sept. 28, 2022, in Kaysville, Utah.

Coleman was born May 11, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry F. Scheuller and Phyllis C. Scheuller. He married Julie Timothy on Dec. 18, 1969, in Salt Lake City.

Coleman was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an LDS mission in the Netherlands. He also was a very proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

After selling his private practice in Utah, Dr. Scheuller arrived in Maine to assume a podiatry position at the VA-Togus where he worked for several years. He later went on to Pen-Bay Medical Center in Rockport, where he met and helped many patients through the years. Dr Scheuller also dedicated one day per week to serve patients at Healthreach Clinics in Richmond Coopers Mills, and Albion. He retired from Pen-Bay in 2021 and returned to Utah. But, being duty bound to his patients at the Healthreach Clinics, he returned to Maine each month to serve them. His Maine family was very important to him, especially Frank and Ramona Venskus & Family, who “adopted” him early on.

Coleman filled his life with great enthusiasm and hard work. He promoted education, loved sports, reading, friends and service. He kept busy with family and enjoyed many great adventures; hunting, running, hiking, waterskiing and always, ping pong. His love for life continues to be held within the hearts of those who love him.

He is survived by his wife Julie; children, Michael, Sarah, Luke, Samuel and Benjamin; 14 grandchildren; and sister, Pamela. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Erma Ann.

A memorial service for his Maine friends and family will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel located at 44 Hasson Street, Farmingdale.
