Diane Wilson is running for election for Register of Deeds in Kennebec County. She is the current Register and previously served as the Deputy Register. In total, she has worked at the Registry for 25 years. During that time, as a lawyer, I have worked in the Registry searching title and have observed her. Needless to say, she is fully experienced, has competently directed the Registry and knows every facet of this important government agency, vital for the economic and commercial well-being of the county. She skillfully directs a staff that helps her carry out her duties.
When she is elected, the public can expect that there will be a continuing, smooth operation of the facility and that our economic livelihood that is dependent on an organized record of real estate transactions will be properly managed.
