I am writing this letter in support of Corey Wilson, who is running to be state representative for Readfield and Winthrop.
As a former state representative, I served with Corey in the Legislature and I served on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee with him. I have seen Corey in action; he is hard-working, committed, and above all a consensus builder.
There were many times in committee and on the house floor when Corey was instrumental in negotiating through issues when it seemed there was no middle-ground to be found. He has a natural ability to bring people together, even when the issues are tough. He had the respect of his colleagues on both sides of the aisle then, and I have no doubt that he will again.
I highly encourage you to vote for Corey Wilson. He is who we need to lead Maine.
