The Rangeley Community Chorus plans to begin rehearsals for the annual holiday performance, and it will be welcoming new members.
All that is required is a general love for singing and ability to attend most of the rehearsals, which will be held from 6:30 to 8 Friday and Sunday evenings.
The first rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main Street in Rangeley. All are invited to come and see what it’s all about, with no obligation.
The annual holiday performance is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 16, according to a news release from Val Zaplosky at Rangeley Friends of the Arts.
For more information, call 207-864-5000 or email [email protected]. The chorus is sponsored by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
