With the election on Nov. 8, the choice for Senate District 16 could not be clearer.
Dave LaFountain has lived in this district virtually his entire life. He served the local public for over 40 years as a career firefighter. He is a cancer survivor who understands the importance of effective, affordable health care for everyone. He knows how to balance a budget and make responsible, fiscally sound decisions.
Mike Perkins served in the Maine House for the past six years, was blatantly ineffective in office and is term limited from running for another term in the House. He launched a campaign for Maine’s 2nd District congressional race and failing to win that race, has decided to run for the state Senate.
I will proudly vote for Dave on Nov. 8; I hope you will too.
