It was Pablo Picasso who said, “the meaning of life is to find your purpose. The purpose of life is to give it away.” Why are you here? What are you supposed to be doing with this gift called life.

I believe that every person is here to bring something so unique to existence. The only person qualified to give the gift of your characteristics, your presence, and your distinctiveness is you! Look at your fingerprints. Your fingerprints have never existed in the history of this planet prior to your birth. When you die, your unique set of fingerprints will never exist again — ever.

Because you are so distinct, you can make an impression on the lives you touch daily, hourly. Your children bare your genetic makeup times the 23 chromosomes and your partner. The lives you touch are immeasurable. You may influence the next Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the next Greta Thunberg, the next Miles Davis or John Lewis.

We do not know how our inspiration or company will make in peoples’ lives. Nevertheless, believe you make a difference. You have a purpose on Earth. Do the work and discover yourself. It matters in life.
