Michelle A. Demchak

MADISON – Michelle A. Demchak, 59, of Madison tragically died Nov. 26, 2022 while rendering assistance at a vehicle accident in Waterville. She was born in Skowhegan Jan. 31, 1963 to Richard and Catherine (Shirley) Frazier. She attended schools in Madison, graduating from Madison High School in 1981.

Michelle began working at Madison Hannaford and later worked at Madison Paper in Safety and security. With a strong desire to help people, she returned to school earning a Nursing degree. She began her career as an Emergency Room Nurse, but eventually found her true calling as a Hospice Nurse. Michelle excelled in helping patients and families with end of life care and was recognized in the community as being one of the very best.

Michelle was a devoted mother, diligently raising her two children. Later, grandchildren became the center of her attention and she would drop everything to devote time to their happiness. Michelle loved people and was a dedicated friend, many lasting her entire lifetime. Her beautiful smile, loving heart, and angelic personality will be deeply and sadly missed by the many whose lives she touched. She lived her life with love and courage, always caring for others before herself and passed from it in the same manner. She was our hero.

Michelle was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Elwood and Catherine Gordon, paternal grandparents Clifford and Mildred Frazier and her aunt Delina (Chubby) Wacome; also her beloved Golden Retriever Riley.

Michelle is survived by her parents Richard and Shirley Frazier of Madison; fiance Micheal Caron of Madison; son Kyle Demchk his fiance Rosie Soucier; and grandsons Greyson, Colton and granddaughter Oaklee of Madison; daughter Olivia Salley her husband Ben and granddaughter Eleanor of Smithfield; sister Lori Christopher and brother-in-law Amando of Madison; niece Lindsey Caldwell, her children Braelyn and Rowan, niece Lexie Collette and her husband Eric and daughter Madelynn, nephew Kyle Christopher.
