BINGHAM — Kara Briand had 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Richmond girls basketball team defeated Valley 54-50 on Thursday night.

Brianna Dufresne added 15 points for Richmond (3-0), which trailed 31-29 at halftime.

Madeline Hill scored a game-high 30 points for Valley (1-1).

RICHMOND 67, VALLEY 60: Connor Vashon scored 34 points to lead the Bobcats to an East/West win over the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Wyatt Cassidy added 15 points for Richmond (2-0).

Harry Louis led Valley (0-2) with 31 points, while Fisher Tewksbury added 18 points.

 

HALL-DALE 52, OAK HILL 33: Jackson Leach, Carter Bourque and TJ Wilson paced the Bulldogs (2-0) past the Raiders (0-2) in Wales.

Leach scored a game-high 16 points, Bourque added 14 and Wilson finished with 12.

Cooper Scott made two 3-pointers and scored a team-high 10 points for Oak Hill. Maverick Swan added six points, while PJ Smith and Eli Desmond scored five apiece.

 

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 55, CARRABEC 43: Elie Timler dropped in the game-17 points and Jace Bessey and Can Dougher combined for 26 points in the Phoenix’s win in Jay.

Spruce Mountain (2-0) erupted with 17 points in the final quarter to put an end to Carrabec (0-2).
