The Farmington Grange plans to offer a WWW — Wednesday Workers and Warm Up event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every other Wednesday at the Farmington Grange, 124 Bridge St., weather permitting.
The next session is set for Dec. 21.
Grange members will bring projects to work on, such as sewing, knitting and rug hooking.
There will be games, puzzles and music, as well as soup, coffee and light refreshments. The ladies are willing to teach people how to do simple mending.
Others are invited to bring their own projects or mending, or just come for warmth and fellowship, according to a news release from the Grange’s Bonnie Clark.
The hall has a new updated heating system and is much warmer than in the past.
For more information, call Clark at 207-778-1416.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
