Solar farms have no place along the interstate (just as billboards didn’t). Gov. James Longley outlawed them. Why? Because they took away from the beauty of our state. I have no beef with solar farms. Just that they are not regulated well enough. Take a look at Farmington’s acres and acres and acres of solar panels. Most likely on private land but I sure am glad I don’t live next door. My property would be worthless!

I don’t feel the cloverleaf in the center of Augusta was unsightly as someone from the DOT stated. If they had done the right thing to begin with when they built the cloverleaf they could have been attractive. The broken stone fireplace still sat where they left it when they destroyed the home to build the roadway.

What happened to the flowers they said they would plant to replace the trees they removed. Another lie!

Put these ugly panels on the roofs of all your state buildings if you can’t do better. I have to drive by these ugly solar panels every day. If everyone had to they might feel differently about their placement. I know, how about in the park in front of our state capitol!
