Israel “Izzy” Brooks Parsons

CORNVILLE – Israel “Izzy” Brooks Parsons, 24, of Cornville, passed away on Dec. 24, 2022 in Cornville as a result of a car accident.

Israel was born on May 12, 1998 in Flagstaff, Ariz., a son of Tyron Parsons and Jessica Smart.

Israel enjoyed spending summers with his family and friends at Schoodic Lake. He loved boating, Nerf gun fights and water sports with his Uncle Ryan, his siblings, his cousins and his Mema. He always had a smile for everyone he met and was known by all of his friends and family for his ability to light up any room with his wonderful personality and infectious laugh. Israel loved the outdoors and shot his first deer this year with his stepfather, Cliff Perigo and his brother Jackamo Benner.

He was a good worker and took very good care of his beloved fiance, Morgan Lanctot and her children. He will be remembered for his gentle, kind and helpful nature and for the many acts of kindness he performed while here with us. He will be sorely and severely missed by his family and friends who love him so much.

Israel is survived by his mother, Jessica Smart of New Portland, his stepfather, Cliff Perigo of New Portland, his father, Tyron Parsons of Cornville; as well as his sister, Hannah Parsons, his brother, Jackamo Benner, his sister, Samantha Parsons; his fiance, Morgan Lanctot and her children Jaxten and Paysen; his uncle, Ryan Smart, his aunt, Tia Nelson, his aunt, Ashley Holmes; his cousins Gabriel and Finneas Holmes; his grandmother, Camille Smart, his grandmother, Lois Wood; his aunt Cheri Leas, his uncle, Brooks Parsons, his aunt, Loto Parsons, his aunt, Kore Parsons, his aunt, Kristin Randall, his uncle, John Randall; his cousins Linnea Butler, Danielle Leas, Chelsea and Frank Wade, Evelyn Parsons, Amber and Aaron Corr and Clint and Lacie Randall.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Forrest Smart Jr., his grandfather, Ralph Durwood Parsons; his great-grandfather, Ralph Ludwig Parsons, his great-grandmother and grandfather, Grace and Tony Russo and his great-grandmother and grandfather Forrest Smart Sr. and Anita King.

A celebration of life will be held within the next month. The date, time and location will be announced on Facebook once arrangements have been finalized
