OAKLAND — Aryana Lewis scored a game-high 20 points to lead Skowhegan past Messalonskee 41-34 in Class A North girls basketball action Saturday.

Laney LeBlanc added eight points for the River Hawks (3-2) while Maddy Morris chipped in six.

Ashley Mullin led the Eagles (0-6) with 15 points and three rebounds while Candace Pelotte added nine points. Lexi Bayne helped out with four points, seven rebounds and two assists.

 

GIRLS HOCKEY

WINSLOW/GARDINER/CONY/LAWRENCE/MESSALONSKEE/MARANACOOK/ERSKINE/MT. BLUE 4, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE/LINCOLN/OCEANSIDE/BOTHBAY 3: Katie Berard had two goals and two assists to lead the Black Tigers to the win.

Evelyn Rousseau and Alexa Caccamo added a goal each for the Black Tigers (4-2-0) while Abby Allen also had an assist.

Mallory Stuart, Remy LeBel and Marley LeBel scored for the Eagles (4-1-0). Alex Durant, Salin Bachor, and the LeBels each added an assist.
