Beulah Margaret (Grady) Madden

FARMINGDALE – Beulah Margaret (Grady) Madden was born in a farmhouse in Jefferson to John and Albertine Bouffard Grady on Sunday April 28, 1935, the last of 10 children and the fifth daughter. Beulah passed Dec. 23, 2022.

At 20, she married Ed Madden and together raised four children. She was a homemaker and held various retail positions. Beulah was a member of Rebekah Lodge and Red Hats.

Beulah was predeceased by her husband of 53 years; an infant son Arthur Edward Madden III; and grandson, John Scott Dawson.

She is survived by Catherine Webb (Donnie), Marilyn (Jody) Hinkley, Brenda Madden (John Cates), Michael Madden (Tammy); seven grandchildren, Katie Clark, Jennifer Kruk, Jessica Farnham, Mark S Hinkley, Eric Hinkley, Andrea Madden, Margaret Madden; as well as 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces nephews and cousins; and friend, Bruce Ellis.

Visitation will be at Kincer Funeral Home in Richmond Jan. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. Mass will be held Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at Saint Ambrose Church, 29 Kimball St. in Richmond with a gathering to be held at Enterprise Grange Hall Richmond Alexander/Reed Road.
