Rolande Lavallee
GLOUCESTER, Va. – Rolande Lavallee, 87, of Gloucester, Virginia, departed peacefully after a brief illness on Dec. 29, 2022 with her daughter by her side.
Rolande was born July 5, 1935, in St. Zacharie, Canada, to Oram Doyon and Florence LaChance. She married Maurice Lavallee of St. Zacharie in 1962. They had one daughter, Carla Lavallee Girard.
They spent over 50 years residing in Bingham, Maine, before moving to Virginia to be nearer their daughter.
She had two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who adored her. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Bingham, Aug. 5, 2023, for family and friends.
