Robert P. Webber Jr.

WINTHROP – Robert P. Webber Jr., 67, passed away suddenly on Jan. 21, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born on March 14, 1955, in Augusta.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert P. Webber Sr. and Anna (Atwood) Webber, and sister Nancy Leigh Webber.

He graduated from Cony High School in Augusta, ME in the class of 1974. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army from January 1975 to January 1978 serving as a Military Policeman. He was honorably discharged as Spec.4. He later learned he was a disabled Veteran, thanking Togus VA for all their help and support.

He was employed for many years at Statler Tissue in Augusta; he later went on to work at Charlie’s Motor Mall serving nearly 25 years in sales. He later worked at Tractor Supply for three years.

Bob enjoyed all sports, watching and playing, he was a member of the Augusta Country Club for numerous years, “thanks for all the unforgettable memories”. Bob was an animal lover and loved his animals so much, Ashley, Sadie, Shooter, Buster, and Conan. He also leaves behind a very special person and a lot of dear friends.

Bob is survived by his sister, Susan Webber; by his son, Robert P Webber III and his wife Jacqui Orio Webber; his grandchildren, Robert Palmer Webber IV “Peanut”, and Opal Lynn Webber “Opie”, all from China, Maine, whom he loved very much.
