How enjoyable to read the news story on Gerry Boyle’s recent book talk at the Lewiston Public Library (“Crime novelist Gerry Boyle talks murder and justice,” Jan. 19), even if it came from the non-local Lewiston Sun Journal.

How disappointing that my local newspaper carried no coverage of a local book talk by Maine author Tim Cotton at our local Lithgow Library that same week.  The 50 or so people who attended seemed to find it newsworthy and interesting.
