GARDINER — Lizzy Gruber scored 25 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to help the Gardiner girls basketball team pull out a 70-54 win over Nokomis in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Friday night.

Savannah Brown scored 17 points and had five assists for the Tigers (15-0).

Camryn King scored 24 points and Raegan King added 15 to lead Nokomis (8-7).


VALLEY 82, VINALHAVEN 28: Kirsten Bigelow scored 24 points to lead the Cavaliers to the Class D win at Vinalhaven.

Madeline Hill added 20 points for Valley (10-3) while Brielle Hill scored 18.


Vinalhaven (4-7) was led by Chelsea Waite with six points.


KENTS HILL 77, BUCKFIELD 31: Rose Jenkins, Logan McDonald and Regina Sabirova each scored 18 points to lead the Huskies.

Naomi McGadney scored eight points for Kents Hill (13-0) as well.

Sarae Devoe scored 2 points to pace Buckfield (2-12).



HALL-DALE 72, TELSTAR 23: Jade Graham’s 14 points led the Bulldogs (11-2) in Bethel.

Amanda Trepanier made a pair of 3-pointers and scored 12 points for Hall-Dale (11-2), and Aubrey Gilbert added 10 points.

Morgan Zetts was Telstar’s (2-9) top scorer with 13 points. Karen Marshall hit two 3s and finished with eight points.





BREWER 72, LAWRENCE 61: Brock Flagg scored 19 points and Brady Saunders added 15 as the Witches earned the KVAC A victory in Brewer.

Ryder Goodwin had 15 points for Brewer (13-0).

Conner Nutting led Lawrence (8-5) with 18 points.


MESSALONSKEE 73, MCI 32: Dan Parent scored 19 points and Merrick Smith added 12 as the Eagles rolled to the KVAC victory in Oakland.

Parent also had five assists and three blocks. Walter Fegel had four points, four assists and five steals for the Eagles (5-9).


Caleb Kennedy had nine points to lead MCI (3-11).


CARRABEC 49, LISBON 39: Luke Carey’s game-high 21 points paced the Cobras over the Greyhounds in Lisbon.

Bobby Lindholm added 15 points for Carrabec (6-6), and Joel Gehrke added 10. Carey and Lindholm each made three 3-pointers.

Levi Tibbetts led Lisbon (8-6) with 19 points. Chase Mailhot added seven.


LINCOLN 63, MARANACOOK 55: Gabriel Hagar and Tucker Stiles each scored 17 points to lead the Eagles in Readfield.

The Eagles improved to 10-4.

Brayden St. Pierre paced Maranacook (7-7) with 23 points. Keagan McClure scored 12.
