GARDINER — Parker Sergent scored 24 points as the Cony boys basketball team handled Gardiner 82-57 on Wednesday night.

Kam Douin netted 17 points, Alex Fournier 12 and Eli Klaiber-Parise 10 for the Rams (9-6), who led 47-28 at the half.

Brayden Elliott led Gardiner (2-15) with 13 points, followed by Colby Moody with 11 and Brady Atwater with 10.

 

SKOWHEGAN 59, MT. BLUE 49: The River Hawks (9-6) used a balanced attack to win at Skowhegan.

Adam Savage scored 15 points for Skowhegan, followed by Kyle LePage and Ryan Donoghue with 13 apiece.

Evans Sterling scored 15 points for Mt. Blue (10-5), followed by Jayden Meader with 11.

 

TEMPLE ACADEMY 55, VINALHAVEN 50: Peyton Reckards had 23 points and tied a season high with 19 rebounds as the Bereans held on for the win at Waterville.

Teammate Nathan Corey added 22 points that included nine free throws for Temple (4-12); his 4-for-4 effort from the line down the stretch preserved the victory.

Robby Swears netted a game-high 27 points for Vinalhaven (6-7), while Sam Wentworth added 10.

MONMOUTH 55, LISBON 41: Brothers Sammy and Manny Calder combined for 32 points as the Mustangs earned the win in Lisbon.

Sammy Calder had 19 points while Manny helped out with 13 points and went 4 for 5 at the free-throw line to help elevate the Mustangs to 12-3.

Levi Tibbetts scored a team-high 15 points for Lisbon (9-7).

 

MARANACOOK 74, MT. VIEW 66: Brayden St. Pierre’s 27-point effort included four 3-pointers as the Black Bears (8-7) won at Thorndike.

Jacob McLaughlin added 19 points and Keagan McClure 18 for Maranacook, which led 44-28 at the half.

Wyatt Bennett scored 19 points for Mt. View (6-8) and Max Bottenfield had 16.

MT. ABRAM 50, TELSTAR 31: Bailea Haines scored 15 points as the Roadrunners (6-8) prevailed at Strong.

Teammate Abi Wilcox added 13 points, which included a 5-for-6 showing from the free-throw line.

Morgan Zetts scored a game-high 17 points for Telstar (2-11).

 

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 51, HALL-DALE 50: Jaydn Pingree made a layup in the paint with 20 seconds left as the Phoenix (13-1) rallied from a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit to take the win at Farmingdale.

Pingree finished with 13 points and Jazmine Pingree added 12 for Spruce Mountain, which trailed 30-19 at halftime.

Amanda Trepanier scored 22 points for Hall-Dale (12-3), followed by Hayden Madore with 16.

 

MARANACOOK 66, MT. VIEW 27: Natalie Mohlar scored 32 points, including six 3-pointers, as the Black Bears (9-6) won easily at Readfield.

Arianna Bradeen led Mt. View (4-10) with 14 points.
