MADISON — Callan Franzose had 29 points and 12 rebounds as the Madison boys basketball team cracked the .500 mark with a 67-44 win over Oak Hill on Thursday.

Kayden Hibbard scored 10 points for the Bulldogs (8-7), while Shyre Bonito pulled down eight rebounds.

Maverick Swan and Ethan Vattaso had nine points apiece for Oak Hill (3-13).

 

FOREST HILLS 72, PINE TREE ACADEMY 25: Mason Desjardins scored 19 points as the Tigers (14-2) won easily at Freeport.

Cooper Daigle (16 points) and Blaine Nadeau (14) combined for 20 points in the first quarter, when Forest Hills outscored Pine Tree 38-7.

Blaine Nadeau scored 10 points for the Breakers (0-11).

 

MT. ABRAM 64, TELSTAR 25: Payton Mitchell dropped in 16 points to pace the Roadrunners (12-3) past the Rebels (1-13) in Salem Township.

Kaden Pillsbury contributed 12 points to Mt. Abram’s victory.

Telstar’s Levi Cole-McDonnell hit two 3-pointers and scored a team-high nine points.

BOOTHBAY 45, CARRABEC 41: Gryffin Kristan scored 17 points as the Seahawks (9-6) earned the narrow win in North Anson.

Luke Morley added 12 points for Boothbay, which snapped a 29-all tie after three quarters.

Joel Gehrke had 12 points and Luke Carey 10 for Carrabec (8-7).

 

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 59, HALL-DALE 39: Jace Bessey scored 26 points as the Phoenix (12-3) won in Jay.

Bessey scored five points in each of the first two quarters and had eight apiece in the third and fourth quarters. Lucas Towers added 10 points and Elie Timler contributed nine.

TJ Wilson led Hall-Dale (6-7) with 15 points, while Tayshawn Cleveland chipped in 10.

 

MCI 53, LEAVITT 34: Brayden Fitts scored 16 points for the Huskies (4-12) in their win at Pittsfield.

Owen Moore added 15 points and Caleb Kennedy 11 for MCI, which led 30-10 at the half.

Brett Coburn scored 14 points for Leavitt (5-11).

MT. ABRAM 64, WISCASSET 9: Abigail McCarty’s 16 points led the Roadrunners (7-8) in their home win in Salem Township.

Bailea Haines added nine points and Abigail Wilcox contributed eight for Mt. Abram.

Qiana Hyman led Wiscasset (0-15) with seven points.
