GREENVILLE, S.C. – Patricia “Pat” (Brochu) Dunn Tanner, 75, a resident of Greenville, S.C., passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 25, 1947 in Augusta, the daughter of Dorilas and Rose Brochu of Cony Road, Augusta. Pat was raised in Augusta with a family of 11 brothers and sisters. She lived in Auburn for many years achieving a B.S. in Accounting from University of Maine.

Pat raised three children and worked as an accountant before retiring in South Carolina with her husband, Ben Tanner. She lived in North Carolina for many years before marrying Ben Tanner in 2007. They have had many adventures together and resided in Greenville, S.C. for many years.

Pat had many hobbies and interests throughout her life, but most of all, she was an avid gardener, well known to all for her love of flowers and plants. She had great artistic talent and she enjoyed projects of all kinds: building things, gardening, and building her retirement home with Ben. In her adult life she also enjoyed sailing, golfing, dancing, and cooking.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David “Ben” Tanner; and children Joel Dunn and wife Mary, Tammy (Dunn) Cook and husband David, Rebekah (Dunn) Queen and wife Lisa, and Ben’s daughter, Leigh Tanner and wife Nichole; grandson, Caleb Dunn; and siblings Paul Brochu, Raymond Brochu, Rachel (Brochu) Siviski, and Richard Brochu.

She will be dearly missed, and memories of her will be cherished forever.

Memorial service to be held in the spring.
