Dolores Goggin Tracy

FARMINGDALE – Dolores Goggin Tracy passed away peacefully on Feb. 16, 2023. Dolores was born on Jan. 15, 1932 to Everett and Gertrude Goggin in Keene, N.H.

Dolores graduated from Gardiner High School in 1951 and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Donald Tracy. She lovingly cared for her five children and was known far and wide for her delicious pineapple squares and for the best chocolate chip cookies.

She worked for many years at Health-Tex and retired from Hannaford in Gardiner as a baker. After retirement Mom and Dad spent many winters in Myrtle Beach golfing and walking the beaches. Mom worked tirelessly in her beautiful flower gardens, which were the envy of many. She and Dad enjoyed many years of hosting BBQs at their backyard pool for special occasions with their family.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband of 66 years; her son, Bradley; her parents; and sister, Geraldine.

She is survived by her son, Timothy and wife Terry of Litchfield, daughter, Julie and husband Christopher Cotnoir of Gardiner, daughter, Brenda Guillemette of Augusta, and daughter, Shari Tracy of Pittston; grandchildren Tara Chamberlain; Todd Tracy; Patrick, Jeremy, Jacob, and Nathan Cotnoir; Eric and Daniel Guillemette; and Jennifer and Erica Manning; as well as her great-grandchildren, Aiden Tracy; Liam Chamberlain; Skye, Ella, Quinn, Taylor, Colby, and Ethan Cotnoir; Justin, Domenic, Hunter, Emma, Isabella, and Sawyer Guillemette; and Jaxson Hadley.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Captain Lewis Residential facility in Farmingdale for their loving and compassionate care of Mom.

Spring burial services will be held to honor both Mom and Dad.
