Award winning newspaper reporter and columnist Amy Calder will talk about her new book, “Comfort is an Old Barn,” published by Islandport Press (2023), at various upcoming events. A 34-year reporter for the Morning Sentinel whose regular beat is Waterville city government, crime and other news, the book includes a curated collection of her feature column, “Reporting Aside,” which appears weekly in both the Sentinel and Kennebec Journal. At her book appearances, she will read from the book, take questions and sign copies.
