I woke up this morning to discover that my favorite comic strip, “Dilbert,” is being discontinued (“‘Dilbert’ dropped from syndication as Kennebec Journal, Morning Sentinel, other newspapers cancel strip over cartoonist’s racist rant,” Feb. 26). Apparently, it was because of some racist comments made on Twitter by Scott Adams, the creator.
I may be in trouble myself for saying this, but I couldn’t find anything that would meet that threshold, especially when compared to that made our former president. Perhaps it is the corporations and corporate mentality that Scott so artfully lampoons is now seeking its revenge?
