AUGUSTA – Kennebec Savings Bank President and CEO Andrew Silsby has announced Amanda Cooley’s promotion to vice president and marketing and communications officer. In her new role, Cooley is responsible for overseeing the bank’s marketing, communications and community giving initiatives.

Cooley joined the bank in 2018 as the corporate giving and community relations coordinator. Most recently, she served as assistant vice president and community engagement officer, in which she oversaw the bank’s Community Dividends program and volunteer efforts. Prior to joining Kennebec Savings Bank, Cooley held positions in marketing, event planning and communications for Colby College and Husson University.
“Amanda’s passion for strong messaging and communication, along with her exceptional organizational skills, makes her perfect for this role,” said Silsby. “Amanda clearly understands the importance of giving back to the community after managing the bank’s Community Dividends program, where the bank dedicates 10% of its income to go back to the communities it serves,” said Silsby.
“I am thrilled to take on this new role,” said Cooley. “The bank is experiencing exciting growth, and it is rewarding to be a part of the team that is working to strengthen our brand and connect people with the excellent products and services we offer.”
