I just read Frank O’Hara’s compass, “A Catholic in the pews responds to the diocesan legal strategy,” and want to say how much I agree with his opinion. I only wish the Catholic church, and many others, felt the same way.

We were taught as children to acknowledge our mistakes and apologize. Perhaps church leaders and politicians should remember that.
