The Edward Little One Act Team will present their play, “A Deep Poetic Journey Into Something,” by Forrest Musselman at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, at the Community Little Theatre in Auburn.

The story revolves around Jane (played by Sommer Russell), a teenager searching for her place in the world. Jane tells her own story and we are introduced to her family and friends who help her during her journey.

The cast includes Sommer Russell, Ansley Watson, Quinn Donahue, Madeleine DuBois, Nora Condit, Connor Davis, Dyllan St. Peter, Lyra Raymond, Isaac Raymond, Carys Libby, Marissa Morin, Alana Foster, and Steph Kochis. Co-directed by Sarah Brooks and Debora Bishop; Stage manager, Annabeth Treadwell; lights, Arielle Carver; scrim lighting, Makenzie Finnegan; sound, Alyssa Gallant; and stage crew, Eli Carver. Set building included the talents of Anja Wight, Jack Donahue and Seth Goodwin and his Tiny House crew. Special thanks to Alex Billings for help with lighting design and Matthew Peinado for his wonderful painting.

The play was recently presented at the Regional One Act Festival at Mount Desert Island High School where it placed third. An award for set design concept was presented by the judges along with the coveted All Festival Cast Awards to Sommer Russell and Dyllan St. Peter for their performances.

Admission is free although we will gladly accept donations to the EL drama program to help defer costs incurred with this production.
