AUGUSTA — Friends of the Maine State Museum, in partnership with Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, plan to host a “What Ya Got There?” appraisal fair at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, at the Viles Mansion, 71 Stone St.
The fair is an opportunity to learn about one’s heirlooms, visit the historic Viles Mansion, and bid at a silent auction featuring local merchants, according to a news release from the museum.
The suggested donation is $10 for one item, $25 for up to three items, and $5 to be a spectator.
Parking is limited, so all attendees must register for a time slot.
